How is wine harvesting going?

2023 was not an easy year: abundant rainfall during the spring, a summer that was slow to start.
The rains have, on the one hand, replenished the water reserves of the soils after two very dry years, and on the other, exposed the vineyards to cryptogamic attacks. We found ourselves fighting Peronospora and Oidium, vine diseases that damage shoots, leaves and bunches.

The worst seems to be over: the 2023 harvest is safe, although it will not be as abundant as previous ones!
The harvest is continuing apace with continuous monitoring to bring fresh grapes to the cellar, with optimal levels of acidity and aromaticity!
Excellent production of Chardonnay but also Negroamaro! For the Primitivo di Manduria and our other Primitives we will probably have to draw on our reserves!!! Did someone say 'pre-order'?
